Whats the most and best way to sell a product other than listing it on a Marketplace online. I don't have 40,000 listings like my current employer does nor do I have a company. So here I am, making the most of it by marketing myself in my very own website–Mia Yan, welcome! I hope you like what you'll see across the pages.

Background

Joining Blue Pyrenees Estate in 2018 in their export division I was exposed to many styles of design, promotion and marketing trends across the globe. The daily consisted of print press-ready brochures, wine label design and promotional materials in preparation for the latest global expeditions. 

 

Moving on from Blue Pyrenees, I swindled into the wizard world of the rabbit hole–E-commerce. I began my role in KG Group, previously KG Electronics in 2021. I was the 4th staff in the products team. The company grew exceptionally fast with the spread of online shopping after Covid-19.  Starting with 8 marketplaces, it quickly grew to 15 and now a smashing 30 marketplaces that we sell on. The experience at KG was one of a kind, something that pushed me to flourish due to the fast-paced environment of the work. From listing products, I became more affluent and I moved onto a more advanced role of Compliance Manager within the products team. Compliance work was no joke, readings and emails on the daily task starts at 8am. I enjoyed every minute of it and it's a part of the process of product creation that is often hugely overlooked. Not long after getting the gist of compliance and regulations of product safety, I embarked on a role as an Account Manager for Matchbox Kitchenware. From there, I took control of their sales on Marketplace and stimulated the advances of guidelines and point of sale across the platforms.
